Clenbuterol – How much weight can you lose

Clenbuterol or clen as it is often known was originally developed to treat asthma in animals and is also prescribed in some countries to treat the illness in humans. It isn’t a steroid (SARMS) but it does have many of the same properties as anabolic steroids. An interesting side benefit of the drug became apparent in that it can both increase muscle mass and also to reduce body fat. Clenbuterol is an catabolic drug in that it breaks down fat but is also an anabolic drug in that it increases muscle mass.

In effect, it is the opposite of a beta-blocker. Clenbuterol works by stimulating the central nervous system and the heart. It speeds up the body’s metabolism which leads to faster fat burning and increased energy and thus it has been known to be used by athletes as a training aid. It allows them to train more, produce and boost testosterone better results.

It also allows a person to retain both muscle mass and body strength for a longer time period. It should be pointed out that the use of the drug by athletes is banned by the World Anti Doping Agency and is tested for in both in competition and out of competition.

Recommended for Weight Loss

Clenbuterol has a number of sides effects including heart palpitations and anxiety as well as cramps and potentially vomiting. Because it increases heart rate and metabolism it is not recommended as a weight loss remedy for the clinically or morbidly obese. Indeed some studies have shown that excessive use of the drug has a minimal impact on weight loss for such people. Clenbuterol works best for people who are already in reasonable shape and are really looking to do up. A user who is observing an appropriate diet and healthy eating program with exercise and rest periods and following, an appropriate cycle of usage can see people losing 3 to 4 pounds a week.
