These Attunements are given to animals [including birds] who have a healing effect on their humans and on themselves and each other in recognition that Reiki Healing Energy can be channeled through them in much the same manner as it flows through human Reiki Practitioners. While we do not attune them to Levels in the same manner as our human students, we recognize animals healing ability and their desire to help their human companions often at the expense of their own health.
Attunement allows them to continue this loving service but without the possible draining of their own health and energy resources. It also helps them in their own healing process in the same way as Reiki helps us humans to heal on the body, mind, and spirit levels. The Level I Attunement allows your animal Reiki healer to assist you in healing yourself, other family members, especially children, themselves, or other animal family members. With Level II Attunement willing animals can be used to help Send Reiki to other animals and humans in need of healing at a distance.
